breaking free!

Tonight was my first night of Wednesday evening church... I rode with two really sweet girls, chris and kajsa. I love LOVED meeting the people here... they are radiant with Jesus! Anyway, we met with the Clover Creek congregation as well as the Newsong-ers.... and were told we would be praying through generational sin and bondage for the next three weeks. Talk about an awesome experience. I image over 100 people were prayed for and were set free from generational curses and sin. Unbelievable! The Lord did a mighty work - I loved the communal fighting and being aggressive and crying out to the Lord. We began all of us just crying outloud to the Lord and then a couple was used as an example of how to pray through a generational sin. Unbelievable. The Lord spoke and by his authority they kicked and broke through! We split into small groups and were individually prayed for... So good... The Lord just convicted me of rebellion that has come down through the generations and has been associated with other sins. We plugged away, not smoking through all the details but just believing in the forgiveness and the blood and understanding of the Lord to cleanse, be restored and set free. Then Pastor Brian talked about 5 things that plague our families - 1) discontentment, trying to find it in things besides God. 2) blaming others who are close to us when really that's not even the issue. 3) FOG - living in defeat and defensiveness. 4) Pieces of the world have contaminated our family and we have different agendas than the Lords - leaving us in disunity. 5) Living in a relationship and yet separateness and loneliness. It was so awesome and then just closing the doors and breaking the ties of sins that are core roots of these... It's amazing to me how no one is afraid or "this is too private" to share - in order to let the Lord do his mighty work. People are honest with their sin and ready to be free from it. Watching people cry out for each other and take authority over sin and the enemy's schemes is amazing!!!! So then we all prayed outloud - repeating the pastor as we broke through... it was soo good... And his direction so simple. I am SO excited to see what he has instore next for us... My transition so far has been absolutely incredible!! I am blown away.

Tomorrow I go in and talk to Evan and Myron about my job with Rainier Media! That should be a blast - I can't wait to see what the Lord is going to do through that company!! Here is a quote from my friend Julie about the company and how it all got started....

Basically, New Song and our parent church Clover Creek have a para church ministry called Revelasio (Italian for hope restored). Revelasio is then the banner over all the ministry that will come out of New Song and Clover Creek-you will get to know all about it when you get out here. As a part of that, the Lord spoke to a printing and media type company-and thus Rainier is born. They will eventually handle all of Vision's mailings, as well as the printing of material for the church, and other ministries, as well as be a public company-so anyone could come and be a customer. So it is very ground level-start up kind of a deal...
