called out.

wow, it was an intense evening at church... i would say that i am overwhelmed but really it's not in a bad way. i feel like the Lord is just unveiling this picture - a magnificent piece of art and the black sheet that has been covering it - is now being lifted off - and torn apart. and what is being revealed is SO amazing - awe-some - literally breath taking.

tomorrow i'm going to bsf after work. i'm really excited about it. i got a call from the girl (jackie) who will be leading my small group. i have LOVED the study all week long and look forward to more.

i'm throwing off the past. what has happened to me. what i've done. and i'm pressing forward. the pain, the frustration, the sin, the sorrow, the isolation, the unforgiveness. all of it is done. i'm moving forward.

this week i am going to call a nursing home in the area and see if i can come in and start volunteering. just hanging out with the residents and making some friends. i've been thinking about doing a blog ministry with them and know that it will be incredible!! i mean how awesome would it be to have stories documented for families and generations who are miles away from you... so many unheard stories to share. and pictures. wow. i've gotta do it. by sunday next week i will have made contact. check me on that, k?

city central. small groups are starting this week. can i get a KNOCK KNOCK?!! isn't that awesome. it's funny - just recently i have been thinking about small groups and discipleship and bible study. i even asked alison about it - as well as had conversations with other women. i'm SO excited!!!!! the fellowship, the teaching, the accountability and joy together. it's going to be intense.

have you ever just felt like the Lord is saying, be patient. YOU are NOT the one in control of this situation. you need to settle down. i have blessed you already - and there may or may not be more, but I've got it. not in a condemning or disciplined type of way but in a "i love you, i'm taking care of things honey, you can trust me. take my hand and walk with me. i promise, i love you, i favor you and i've got good things for you." and your little fleshly voice is saying, "but can't you hurry up!! do you even see me down here?!" yeah that's another thing i'm thinking about.

unity. the song of it is RINGING through my house. i have to tell you - that today has been SO good with my roommates. the three of us just hung out quite a bit today - aroudn the house... just having a good time together... plus jarrad and casey came down and we were all able to talk just straightforward about the things that are bringing division in our apartment here. wow. so eye opening. and you know what i find to be even better?! i feel like as soon as we even addressed that there exist issues between us - things started getting better - there was just a joy in the house and fun unity happening... and that's when we took these pictures below...aren't they so fun?? anyway, we are all going to the concert on tuesday night... and meeting together on wednesday after city central to pray through some stuff...

alright... i've GOT to get ready for bed...

there's so much more to share...
love you much.
bgirl.
