so long.

it's true. it's been a week since i've last written.

there has been a whole lot going on that's for sure.

another twist to the story, bend in the road...

the Lord is totally shaking things up here again.

going through some crazy things but it's SO good. and funny - i find have such an inner joy and peace about it all. that doesn't mean it's easy and there seems to be a big fight with my flesh... but i am thankful for the fruit and victory around the corner.

today we went as a group to another church in tacoma - it was awesome!!! the sermon was about david and bathsheba - but really just david and how he got to that place of such sin... several distorted mirrors in his life. "little things don't matter." (2 sam 5:12), "it won't happen to me", "no one understands me" - (Isolation, depression, focus on failures, etc) intense. plus, it goes right along with the sermons we've been devouring at newsong. anyway it was incredible - to be part of the community, to meet new people, to be able to bless and encourage, as well as offer up any service or help.

i feel like so much has come up this past week. shaking me like crazy.

seeking wise counsel, "i'm not okay" and that's okay, humility, new eyes to see, desperation, losing control and loving it, self sacrifice.

my cousin had a baby this week... please pray for healing for him - he's had seizures due to a stroke...
