i have been thinking of you. i hope you are well. a lot has gone on since i last wrote... several exciting things.

guess where i went last weekend? to Greenville! can i get a "WOOOHOOO!!" guys, it was SO much fun. i LOVED it. such a great time of rest and FUN. it felt like going home. and the best part is - that it was a surprise!! only bonnie and kelly knew about it - and a select other few.... but it was SO great. it turned out fabulous! my favorite part was on friday going and surprising people. they had no idea and the look in their eyes was the BEST!!! yes, all of you. your eyes, the joy and excitement - makes me smile again today. it was SO fun. plus just some quality time with everyone - AND sunshine. friday night the rinellas came over for a bbq. just like old times. makes me happy. i watched phantom of the opera with deloy and bonnie. it was SO good. i didn't know the story line at all - SO good. and what a relaxing night - just hanging out watching a movie on the wall. tiffani came over afterwards and we got some great conversation. she and i talked about me being back - and how i felt a sense of "failure" for seemingly not being "on." it's like i needed the rest a lot more than i realized. when i am here in tacoma - life just goes. and goes. and goes. and sometimes i don't even realizing how much i am constantly striving - to be a certain way - or just even live in the life here. it is so different in greenville and really a breath of fresh air. does that mean i need to move back? certainly not. i also had a lot of clarity regarding tacoma when i was there. i know i am supposed to be HERE at such a time as this. anyway, after our conversation the weekend was great. it was just SO much fun. saturday we got tiffani a bike. d, t and i went to sonic and then came back for the afternoon... t died her hair and so did bonnie and avery. hehe... then a group of us went out for mexican... my friend annie came along... sunday - we went to church and i got to see dr. reinhard. awww so precious. leah came home from michigan and we spent the afternoon together.... AND i got to see kristen markell. yay! i didn't even know that she would be there... so it was a great surprise. the three of us hung out. it's so nice to catch up with people. we all went to tiff's for awhile and then leah and i went to the rinellas. now that just makes me smile too. we had popcorn and hung out. just like old times. it was SO good. (: then i went "home" and sat in the hottub!!!!! such good conversation. makes me think, and my heart happy. woooohoooooooo. guys, thanks so much for a great weekend. you blessed my socks off. i love you so much. you mean so much to me.

what else. my cousin, AMY! she is coming to visit for a month and a half. aren't you SO excited? MAN, it's going to be SO good for her... and i think i found a place for her to stay for the summer. wooohoo. it will be so good to have someone familiar around. it's funny - i find myself longing and searching for something familiar lately.

my other cousin, ivy. she and i have been in touch these past couple of days and it's so great. it amazes me and makes me so aware as to how blessed i am to be in a community who is constantly purusing jesus and living in hope. oh how i desire it for her. she is so desperate and alone, confused and without any sort of hope at all. jesus rescue her. meet her where she is. hear her cries.

guess what! my sister might be having a GIRL! she went to the doctor yesterday and the ultra sound revealed possibly a girl. (: her/his little legs were crossed. hehe. i can't wait. she is still thinking about names. kiara calls her kaleah. *shrug* she's so precious. haley is going to paul's (kiara's dad) graduation from bootcamp in chicago today. i miss my family and think it's time for a trip. (:
