tonight...
it's been a long day, but i feel like Jesus has been strengthening me - physically and refreshing my mind...
so, below you see the pictures of jackie and me at orcas island... we had a great trip and it was beautiful!! the weekend was SO relaxing and i thoroughly enjoyed my time in all of God's creation... plus had some good time in the word. i am SO hungry for His word lately... i want to be transformed by it and also have it written on my heart...
so many things are changing it seems!! first off, my friend leah got engaged last weekend and tonight my cousin called and told me she is engaged!! wowwiee!! how exciting. there is LOVEEEE in the air...
jesus continues to plow me through more stuff and lead me into restoration. today was a semi difficult day as i sorted through things of the past, moving into a renewal of my mind and out of old patterns of thinking. it really is a re-routing of the brain that's for sure!!!
i've also started a project for synthesys - i'm really excited about it!! tonight after prayer i went to the mandolin cafe just a few blocks from my house. it is so cute. i just had to take pictures...

OHH!! last night i was SOOOO blessed to have some time spent with my dear friend, julie walton. wow, it was so refreshing. i appreciate her friendship so much and we had a special time together. i am blown away by Jesus' goodness and his strategy of relationships. he really does have such a good plan for our lives. seriously. i really am grateful - for who would have thought - that 4 years ago when we met that we'd be living in Tacoma today - and get to be a part of something so great that Jesus is doing!!!! i mean THANK YOU JESUS. she is just so encouraging and her experiential wisdom seems to be so timely - we often are pressing into and out of so many similar life deals. interesting. (:
anyway, tomorrow night i'm going to spend the night at the gentiles and then have thanksgiving with them on thursday. i can't believe the holidays are here. and i'm so excited for Christmas music... wahooo!
alright, love you much! i pray that you are enveloped by his JOY!
