a few flicks...

hey! it's me again...

it's surprising, but YOU are out there and YOU do read... thanks. it's fun.

well tonight i have to tell you about a few movies that i've recently seen.

the most recent: kicking and screaming. :P not very good and really i just keep coming to the same conclusion: i don't like stupid movies. i don't find them funny or amusing. just annoying. this movie was a little sad too. so much family junk - but i'm sure very similar to families today. makes me just want to love kids. anyway, the fun part was that half the theater held newsongers. that was kind of exciting. so many familiar faces.

the most intriguing: phantom of the opera. watched it last week at the cole's on the Wall. SOOOO good. and that doesn't even include the comfy leather sofas and the great company. the music was incredible. i did not know any of the storyline at all - very interesting. i think i need to watch it again. it was SO vibrant. passionate. engulfing. explosive. i like it. i think i may have to purchase the dvd and soundtrack. it's so mysterious - it draws you in. and the voices. incredible. now do you think that girl was on a commercial for face wash? she looks so familiar. i did discover she was in the movie, the day after tomorrow. the girlfriend. anyway, if you haven't seen this movie, go out and rent it NOW! (: you'll like it, i promise.

one that's taken forever to finish, but not because it's a boring movie: i am david. tricia and i started watching this the night before i left for greenville - it's not even a long movie - only 90 minutes, but we haven't finished it yet! it's SO good and it has the guy who played jesus in it - Jim Caviezel. it's about a boy who escapes from a prison camp and goes on a journey to find "freedom." i haven't gotten to that part yet, but i am excitedly waiting. (:

hey, if you haven't seen or heard of these movies, simply google them. find out some more information, or maybe sign up for netflix. (:

netflix makes me think of the cole's and they make me think of SUMMER. today i was on the phone with leah and we were talking about the SUMMER. it's here. at least for her and the people in greenville. it's SO hot and very summery there. i miss it. funny, it's still spring here but it started way back in february when there was probably snow on the ground there. anyway, the gone are the "lazy" days of lemonade (one o'clock pepsi), sunday drives (early morning wakeboarding), conversations on the porch (conversations on the cole porch or late nights on the trampoline), long walks (scooter rides)... life goes on. and boy does it. (: i am now stationed across the country. sometimes i forget that i am here. until i see signs "Seattle, North I-5".

it's been a great weekend - just getting back into the groove of life. the fridge is full, the laundry smelling oh so fresh, and my room organized for the week. are you ready?

i miss you friends. wish i could give you a BIG HUG. i miss hugs. not enough around here. it's graduation at the alma mater - i can't believe it's been a year.

alright. that's all tonight. tomorrow again?

bgirl.
