whoa!

it has been too long and i do apologize!!! i hope you are all fabulous! it is a beautiful day here in tacoma! and it has been! there has been SO much sunshine lately!! makes me VERY happy!! (: *reading previous post* well, let's see what has happened since posting last weekend...

my roommate got engaged! SO exciting. traci and lance. they had a party on tuesday night at the guys' house... it was so fun - and neat to hear their stories as to how they got together, and how he proposed. *smile*

wednesday was my friend mandon's birthday... sean and i got him a red bubble-tip anemone. ((((SHHH!))))



(: it's a secret - the fish people will call him next week to let him know that it has arrived. so while he waits, i purchased a nemo coloring book and crayons. super fun, huh! yes, he loved it.



oh, we went to see bebo and shawn mcdonald in seattle on friday. the concert was pretty good. i wish that shawn could have sang longer. he is amazing. we got lost in seattle on the way home... *lol* and we were SOOOO tired. it was pretty fun though - i figure, hey - i need to be driving right in that area in a week... i might as well get some practice!

last night, i went and had dinner with my new friend, carissa. she worked at the starbucks in the mall yesterday... so we walked around for awhile and i got the cutest jacket ever! (: then we ended up going to three restaurants before finding one that was open and available. it was so good to talk and just share our stories. makes me happy.

yesterday was a pretty relaxing day - just hung out and read and slept. ahhhhh... *sigh* nice. it's good to be refreshed once and awhile. today i am going to hang out with my friend cynthia. we're going to starbucks. wooheee! (: and then there's church with the babies!! yay!! i am so excited about that.

this week chris will be in chicago and so alison and i will be alone! (: hehe... amy comes on friday and we'll go to the sonic game! wooohoo!! i'm so excited. it is going to be SUCH a fun week.

i have been relistening to the women of significance series. amazing. have you ever experienced something - and the Lord does an invisible work in your heart. it's not an outright choice that you make, but a spiritual transaction takes place. and you experience the joy afterwards. that's exactly what happened on thursday and friday.

"Sing, O barren woman, you who never bore a child; burst into song, shout for joy, you who were never in labor; because more are the children of the desolate woman than of her who has a husband," says the LORD.
