hi friends!!

it's friday night... and it's been a pretty great week!!! work has been a bit tiring.. i don't know if i need a vacation, a new job, or maybe just more jesus and less of bethany...

i got to spend some good time with my friend lindsey this week... she is such a blessing... she makes me want to be more like jesus. her faith challenges me... still i can't imagine being in her shoes. the loss. the confusion and grief. jesus comes and meet her.

guess who has been here this week! scotty kessler! woohooo!! it was SOOOO refreshing to hear him speak on wednesday night at discipleship... whoa mama. it wasn't anything new per se - but it was just like lighting my spirit again - you know - some gas for the fire! press forward - there's so much more.

tonight was a friend's birthday party from church..... more and more i am enjoying spending time with different people... and moving "in." oh - you know what else? a girl there was so encouraging - just spoke such words of life - with regards to evangelism, my intentionality with people, and who i am... it was so nice to get that out of "no where"... i feel like jesus has done that a lot lately - last week Chris spoke such words of life - and affirmed who jesus has made me to be...

whoa. i LOVVVVVEEEE that "illuminating" part - because it makes me think of "sunshine" and of how "special" those words are... he said that there was a specific emphasis on the word "illuminating." i LOVVVE it - and I love how Jesus is so consistent - and that who he says I am is truth - all around - from one mouth of a friend in greenville to another in tacoma.

tomorrow my friend rachel and i are getting together... we are going to just start studying the word together... just to do it. i love it. delights me... and on that note, i am going to jump in bed.
