tomorrow is my "FRIDAY"

today was a pretty good day at work... this whole week has been very relaxing!! i've been learning a lot... and our new website is up!! very exciting! (:

i have another mandon story! chris was on the phone with him today and got off... "Bethany.... guess who i just talked to!!" *laugh* and then about half an hour later... i hear... "MANDON!" from Chris' voice... LOL.... and there he was right in our office... funny conversations and yet again a mention of the time i hung up on him... *laugh* i told chris that he should tell his friend mandon to ask me on a date! *lol* okay so maybe i was a bit forward - but the guys have been teasing me about it SO much - and i even talked to doug about it today... LOL. leah said tonight... "sounds just like Bob and Deloy!" and oh how i miss you and wish i could share it with you all hehehe... he just seems like a really nice guy and when i think about it... it makes me happy!

the Lord met me at such a delicate spot last night... i was feeling a little sad... and just thinking about a lot of stuff... and instead of just running from the thoughts and emotions i let them continue.... i almost felt outside myself - consciously aware that i was just being affected and let it all just sink in FULLY... quite an interesting experience... and then he revealed to me something so big and exciting - bringing me to tears... at first of sadness and then of such hope and joy... LOVE OUT LOUD.

ooh guess what!! i got discipleship journal today... plus, i talked to leah on the phone, and tiffani... and maybe soon i'll talk to kristen!! plus i've been emailing with some very fun friends... makes me quite happy... and got to talk to jodi a lot online last night... so muh fun!!!

i finally finished my book today... this last section Sheldon has been talking about time and eternity... and how often when he was with "Davy" he would LONG for time to just stop.... and OHHHHH how i know that feeling and have experienced such moments... isn't it crazy how we never get used to time - he proposes -

"It suggests that we have not always been or will not always be purely temporal creatures. It suggests that we were created for eternity. Not only are we harried by time, we seem unable, despite a thousand generations even to get used to it. We are always amazed at it - how fast it goes, how slowly it goes, how much of it is gone. Where, we cry, has time gone? We aren't adapted to it, not at home in it. If that is so, it may appear as proof, o at least a powerful suggestion, that eternity exists and is our home."

BOOM.

did YOU get that?!! how many times this week have thought... "I can't believe it's Christmas... Another year already... Another week!?!!!"

I LOVEEEEEEEEEE the way this guy thinks so much... the way he writes is so fascinating... not because he uses big words... but because his thoughts are big. HE is affected. he feels and thinks a LOT. i love it. and his thoughts are so meaningful... it's like you step into his whole being through his writing...

"If you cry, then it is not because i am sad, but because i captured sorrow. It not only has to be accurate but "visual" as well. It has to engross all your senses even though it is flat black ink -on paper. That is AWESOME writing."

i don't think i can say it any better....
