he comes to steal, kill and destroy.

wow... it just tears me up how much satan wants to destroy the family. and i am SO thankful that my eyes have been opened... i hate how he seeks to steal from us so much! it makes me think of a line in waking the dead... something about making one step toward god or others and it will be opposed! i saw it happen and part of me is so fed up with his schemes!! guys, we've got to fight him -

There is a thief. He comes to steal kill and destroy. In otherwords, yes, the offer is life, but you're going to have to fight for it because there's an Enemy in your life with a different agenda. There IS something set against us. We are at war.

are YOU ready to fight with me? Don't you see?

The world in which we lve is a combat zone, a violent clash of kingdoms, a bitter struggle unto death.

BOOM.

mama. anyway, the fire in my heart is aflame...

On another topic... i finished the whole book... A Severe Mercy.... and i think it has become my favorite book... at least in the biographical genre... there is so much of this book i wish i could share... it has inspired me to read other writings as well... and i have GOT to get the sequel... PLUS there is this book out there - written by Sheldon - about the adopted daughter of Davy... it's like $$70?!! Or something - but has pictures that she drew... and poems... gosh - my heart so LOVES and cherishes this book... i don't think i can explain it very well... but please read these last couple pages of the book...

Simply read a post of mine - when I first began this book...
i am reading this incredible book. a severe mercy. if you could only hear this man talk about the love of his life - and experience their stories as lovers - those who are really living "inloveness" as they pursue and encounter God. blow me away. the writing itself takes me away to the author's world. it is FANTASTIC!! makes me think a lot about love. and inloveness. and slowly as i recall some of the text a smile comes to my face. i feel this man's heart and sometimes find it hard to beleive that someone else has felt, loved, and documented such a thing... serious. i'm not so good with words but this book is rocking me!

So real... I love it. Vulnerable. Flesh and blood. Tears. I love this man. He is FREELY AFFECTED.
